A Great Cebu Experience

“I will never live in Cebu!” that’s what I usually say to myself whenever we come to Cebu for youth camps. I hate the taste of the water! I thought it was a bit salty and makes my skin dry. I did not also like Cebu then because the many buildings and jeepneys make me dizzy. Fifteen years later..here I am, living in Cebu! Lesson learned: never conclude too quickly, your oath maybe a bitter pill to swallow. Anyway, I have been staying here for more than three years now and I think the water is not that bad.. and the buildings and the jeepneys? Just a good sign of success!

What I love most in Cebu is the beaches! They remind me of the beaches of my hometown Tacloban City minus the big waves. I was wondering back then why my former boyfriend (now my husband) was hesitant to go swimming in the beach.
